The Rise of AI enabled Hello World Intelligence

The use of AI is rapidly enabling what I call it as “Hello World Intelligence” in pretty much all the areas including but not limited to software development, law, medicines etc.
What is Hello World Intelligence ?
Hello World Intelligence creates an illusion of being an expert, while knowing the bare minimum about a subject, technology or even about the use of, benefits of, drawbacks of, as well as dangers of using and banking on A.I.
Why we should worry about it?
There is nothing wrong with Hello World Intelligence, it serves as a useful introduction and acquaintance to the concepts we’re new at.
However, unfortunately, it is not suitable for developing small/large scale production level product(s), especially those that people and customers rely heavily on in their daily lives.
Yes, may be the AI knowns how to create the product you want, but it doesn’t understand it.
The AI has no fear of doing mistakes, and is not competing to do something better for success / promotion or beat the competitors out of competition.
The illusion of capability
When we think about creating a product or a solution by keeping AI in mind, not as an assistant, but as a primary mechanism of getting things done,
Then it's not the capability, it’s an illusion of having a capability.
And we don’t own that capability of AI, it can change, modify based on the based of the data that was used for training it.
It can evolve and adapt based on the data used for its training. The optimal method for creating something may vary between different models and even across different versions of the same model, such as GPT-4 and GPT-5.
The wish granted by Genie is always problematic
I’m sure many of us are familiar with the movie Aladdin or have at least heard of the character or a similar tale
The storyline consistently revolves around the wishes granted by the all powerful genie and the consequences that follow. In nearly every version of the story, the wishes granted by the genie ultimately require undoing.
why?
I know that answer and I believe you also know that, but I’m not able to find best possible words to describe the human needs, greed, behaviour and purpose, so leaving it here for all of us to craft our own answers.
Humans are different, AI is not
An AI is as good as the data it gets during training and the ability of its algorithms to find a suitable permutation and combination of the “prompt” being asked.
The human mind is different, creative and not just the permutations and combinations of what was done earlier.
let me go back to 1920’s to emphasize my point
In around 1920, Henry ford famously said that ”If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses”
If AI had been developed in the 1920s, it would have only been able to advise you on how to make your horse run faster; there’s no way it could have suggested building a car.
Don’t STOP the greatest gift of imagination
As imaginative and creative we humans are, we are equally lazy and biased. Our imagination and creativity stops the moment we see a template or rough sketch of what we want.
After that moment, everything just keeps revolving around that template or rough sketch.
If you go an ask AI, you are basically putting your imagination and creativity in the back-burner and your whole thought process starts revolving around the solution provided by the AI and you’ll end up creating more of less something similar.
Hope this helps you in take a better call with respect to using the AI
